Classic car enthusiasts should not miss the upcoming Private Treaty Sales by Historic Motoring Ventures starting from March 17 till March 23, 2014 at Bangsar Shopping Centre. This will be a showcase of rare and prized classic cars and motorcycles that will be up for sale, perfect for classic and vintage car enthusiasts, collectors and investors alike.
The current consignments will be made up of some exciting automobiles that include a 1964 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 FHC (Series 1), a 1971 Datsun 240Z, a 1959 Porsche 356A Coupe 1600 Super (Series T2), two 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL, and a 1968 Pontiac Le Mans plus a fleet of vintage & classic motorcycles.
Historic Motoring Ventures’ private treaty sales service is an exclusive venue to source specific classic and vintage automobiles for collectors as well as placing these automobiles with suitable buyers. The event follows the hugely successful inaugural private treaty sales held last year where a number of rare vintage and classic Mercedes-Benz cars were showcased and placed in the hands of collectors.
If you are a collector seeking a new addition to your classic or vintage automobile collection, visit Historic Motoring Ventures’ Private Treaty Sales at the West Wing Concourse Level in Bangsar Shopping Centre between March 17 to March 23. For more information, please call them at 016-3380779. Paultan.org is the exclusive media partner for this event.
how about 1964 pontiac gto, the car that started the muscle car era?
Can i sell my 1986 Proton Saga there?
You can sell your car at scrap metal dealer… timbang kilo….
I am also waiting for my satria to be included as classic car.. haha
I am waiting for my tiara to go into classic…..
that’s a good car… a real work horse. Most other japs and conti that year recycled by now
Waste money to buy this old junks. Reliability like zero, mechanic will fleece you, and worst, it’s death trap.
Better go put the money to buy a plot of land in nirwana. At least it had more value and you can use it later.
I drive my Dad’s 31 year old W123 to work everyday. With top speeds of below 80km/h and average speeds of below 40km/h in busy KL traffic, how is it a deathtrap?
Besides, when driving a classic, I find myself driving more sedately (since less pick-up) and enjoying the ride instead of erratically speeding-and-stopping like other people rushing to office.
Maybe because you don’t have a choice?
Are you the driver of old car who always drives slowly yet cut the queue at junction with traffic lights and when the light turns green continue driving slowly?
I dunno. How many million cars are there in Malaysia?
Why don’t you tell me where are you at, what car you are driving and its plate number, your real name, mobile and IC number and I will confirm whether it is me. Maybe we could even pull over and get some tea/coffee/beer?
So you are the culprit who hog the lane and causing the traffic jam !!!!
Peter,
the petrol consumption is very high…how much do you pay for petrol every month?
Not that bad really. Generally about RM70 a week. Driving between PJ and KL mornings and evenings and within KL during lunch hours.
Sorry, to add on. I roughly do about 260km in a week. So it works out to about 12.8km/100litre.
But honestly, I have a bit of a light foot and try to follow the “fuel-save” tips, like rolling to a red light, keeping sufficient space in front to keep my speed consistent, smooth take-offs.
well you obviously know jack shit about cars.
1:you always kena con by mechanic(because you know jack shit about cars)
2:w123,unreliable? any cars if you look after it,it will look right back look after you!…and w123 among the hardest car to kill…especially those om engine..i think not many car can come close to w123 reliability.
Very true. I know a couple of W123 that have surpassed the 1 million km mileage mark. They were built like tanks. Toyota reliability don’t even come close.
Wish that malaysia could have more collections like this, but majority dont like classic and some kid who always talk about lamborghini ferrari… Thats why i turned to classics
Thats why u buy junk car coz u can’t afford ferrari.
now,that’s a subjective part.
a ferrari is not reliable, after 3 years and 50k km(that’s should be around 180k km according to the super car mileage super car mileage calculator)..and i assume you have are clueless about italian reliability and build quality.
but!,it drives well,the power….the design…
that 560 SEC is a serious rip-off
Let’s see if Sam Loo got any hilux that got better RV than these cars.
The Corvette C1 on display is HAWTTT !
Person owning it is like the luckiest being on earth !
