Daihatsu Ayla seen again – Perodua Viva replacement?

daihatsu-ayla-spotted-again-1

The debadged Daihatsu Ayla/Toyota Agya has been spotted again, wearing the same trade plate as before. These spyshots were kindly sent in by reader Din Adun – now we know what the car looks like with its brake lamps on.

Could Perodua have brought this in to test and evaluate its upcoming Viva replacement model? After all, Perodua CEO Datuk Aminar Rashid has revealed that a “new model” is set to launch in the second half this year, and since it’s not going to be a sedan and the Viva is nearing seven years of age…

Anyhow, the “new model” will be built at the new Perodua Global Manufacturing plant located next to the existing Sungai Choh, Rawang facility, while its gearbox would come from the E-AT plant at the Sendayan Industrial Park, Negeri Sembilan.

The exterior will be designed in-house by Perodua, while the interior was previewed by the GMA Space concept you saw at KLIMS13. More info on the Viva replacement model here and here, and a Theophilus Chin rendering here.

  • the old/current viva’s ride is, there’s just no other way to put this..horrifying. It’s so firm and uncomfortable, i honestly thought i was in fred flintstone’s car.
The saga/myvi has a MUCH better ride.

P1 already using hot stamping (expensive) but price still cheap than P2 (import cars are not counted as got other taxes). why should P1 use plastic? because Smart Fortwo and Forfour using plastic panel for door?

Either Preve and Suprima S are more expensive than Alza highest price. ok?

For this you need to ask kcng, he is the one who say Myvi is a overpriced junk with Proton GSC. I just further elaborate “If Proton made of plastic, sure much cheaper, then EVERY OTHER car is junk?”

For me, overpriced is overpriced, junk is junk. Thus i don’t simply say the car is junk (including the kimchi cars).

However, Proton is the J class, regardless overpriced or not. In fact, how could you value a junk? A junk is something ppl give FOC also you won’t want.

            J class = Junk class

Don’t expect much from the “Kuci Rat” car in term of stability, the car will naturally “goyang” when express bus passes it on our highway. These type of cars really should be driven around the city for sending kids to schools and visiting pasar malam, etc..

Perodua is competing with Proton and they have plenty of models from Toyota/Daihatsu.

If Proton could last a model for 10 years, why should they be hurry? Vice versa, if Proton update their models as frequent as BMW, you think Perodua won’t bring in new model new features?

and perodua should bring latest engine to malaysia as well. nak jimat, kereta camni mmg ok..cuma pls upgrade safety features.

Perodua is set to launch a “new model” during the second half of this year, company CEO and president Datuk Aminar Rashid has revealed. He said that the model is a completely new model, and does not replace any existing Perodua vehicle in the current line-up.

sekarang ni bukan design yg masalah.
masalah la ni. harga kereta malaysia di malaysia lagi mahal dari harga kereta malaysia di luar malaysia

gila betoi…ada ka patut macam tu.
      memang bangang
at least sama harga pun jadi lah

ni tak.dah la spec lagi bagus. contoh preve australia 6 airbag. 5 year unlimeted mileage, etc etc harga rm58k +-
preve cfe malaysia? 4 airbag, 5 year limited mileage, harga RM72k.

beza banyak tu? kot kalau di australia tu kos kurang. explain la kat rakyat malaysia ni. ni tak. lantak pi la kat rakyat malaysia. yang pasti br1m 3.0 boleh bagi.

Rm650? 1 bulan dah habis. susu anak. baru2 ni 10% naik harga.? apa jadi.
kalau yg xda anak xpa. xla efek.macam aku dua anak masih makan susu. sebulan mau 11kotak jugak darab dengan 1.3 kilo.

memang nampak 10% skit. tapi darab la 11 kotak. mau dekat RM40- RM50 ringgit jugak naik. pasaipa naik susu anak2..naik la susu lain. contoh sabun susu kambing ka. susu cap jungjung ka. susu soya ka. ni x. susu yg paling byk baby minum jugak yg naik. nampak sangat bukan rakyat ditepati. rakyat digunapakaiki. aku doakan kepimpinan negara kita kembali kepada yang benar. tunjukkanlah kepada depa2 ni. depa senang lenang naik kereta mahal2. makan tempat2 sedap. beli barang mahal2. sedangkan rakyat majoriti x brapa ada duit kena guna.
