SPYSHOTS: Hyundai Santa Fe DM facelift testing

Spy-Shots of Cars

The third-gen Hyundai Santa Fe (DM) has been around since mid-2012 in global markets and from mid-2013 at home. A mid-cycle update is due in mid-2015, and here are spyshots of the refreshed SUV, courtesy of our trusty Euro spies.

The general body outline and kick-up shoulder line mid-rear door are recognisable, marking this test mule out as the standard-wheelbase Santa Fe (see long-wheelbase version).

There should be new front and rear bumpers, along with restyled headlamps, tail lamps and front grille. The cabin could get some changes as well, but the drivetrains are expected to soldier on.

While most dream of the future, Jonathan Tan dreams of the past, although he's never been there. Fantasises much too often about cruising down Treacher Road (Jalan Sultan Ismail) in a Triumph Stag that actually works, and hopes this stint here will snap him back to present reality.
