Nissan Navara D23 – a first look at the interior

Here is a first look at the interior of the new Nissan Navara D23, which is set to debut in Thailand next week. This new set of images were captured from a teaser video of the interior, just a day after exterior photos were leaked.

The interior design is recognisably Nissan and has a passenger car-like feel to it. We notice a full colour multi-info display in the instrument cluster between the speedo and RPM meter, an Sylphy-like push start button, Sylphy-like air cond controls, and a Teana-like steering wheel.

The whole centre dashboard area is rather Teana inspired as well, but there are additional items in the area below the air cond controls such as the 4WD mode rotary switch.

If only Hyundai & Kia produce pickup truck, that would be great. Just imagine Santa fe or Sorrento base pickup.. i would buy straight away given that there’s no excise tax

Point well addressing, about to say the same thing. A pick up truck getting a touch screen sat-nav while the Teana doesn’t?! Does Tan Choong hired the right marketing teams? Ahhh…saving for 3 years down the road facelift.

Isuzu D-Max got teaser ads in local news with 3.0 liter engine and new bodykit (similar to New Zealand’s D-Max Swazi Limited Edition bodykit).

I pengsan dy…. when look at those photos!!! Is just SO SO SO damn luxurious for a ~TRUCK~ and these days Truck Manufacture are seeing the “swing” of customers taste from car to truck. Now…. since we also read abt Hilux spy shots, let see if the Dungun “T” brand still stick with his Ol skol tech/style or not. If yes, then Sayonara to “T”

past navara is a fail product in the past despite having a high horse power among the 2.5cc truck.

The nissan truck is very heavy and got no match to Triton and new Hilux during pick up.

To be innovative and achieve high sale volume, Nissan need to get a truck that with big interior, better pickup and price must be below the the T and Ford.

Otherwise, A good truck with have the same fate as the new sylphy and Teana (expected low sale and with big discount later) if they price it on par Triton and Toyota Hilux King.

Another failure if they dont get the pricing right and with cramp interior for Urban cowboy.

The push start button is the same with Almera too. Looks like they really cut costs, but then not an issue as the design and tactility of the button controls are excellent.

i tink thats a supprise with a nice interior of a truck even with push start button
come on bro and sis … give nissan a chance
Nissan not bad at all for its recently launching vehicle in terms of pricing , design , safety features etc

  • To all the Nissan Saleman,

The new batch of Nissan is a good car but the general perception of Nussan car is no : 3 in Malaysia and nissan cannot denied the fact that their car having the highest depreciation among the T & H.(worst than Conti car)

To sell Nissan car, they (TC) need to lower down their price to offset the high depreciation cost in order to make the malaysia road full nissan car.

The new generation of Almera is a good example on how to win back the customer.

If the new generation car (Teana&sylphy&Navara…etc) price on par with T & H , they dont have a change to survive and ended with big discount later and 1st buyer will suffer.

Please tell the TC (Tan Chong) to price it correctly or you may look for a new job if TC marketing strategy backfire.

You cant support TC if they dont know the market strategy. Condemn them (TC) if they are sleeping with the job instead of support blindly on the bad decision made by the TC Management.

New Honda City marketing strategy has proven to be effective with their pricing, additional features (like VSC, unlimited 5 years warranty, bigger interior, rear aircon…a lot more) against the Toyota vios.

So what has happen to your new generation of Sylphy/Teana to beat your competitor?

I like nissan and would like to give them the oppurtunity but TC is sleeping with their latest generation of good car.
