UMW Toyota opens upgraded 3S centre in Tawau

UMW-Toyota-Tawau

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) recently opened an upgraded 3S centre in Tawau, Sabah. The over RM9 million facility has a total built-up area of more than 30,000 sq ft, a showroom that can display up to six cars, a customer lounge with WiFi and a service centre that can handle up to 60 vehicles daily.

The upgrade is timely, as the Tawau branch contributed more than 11% of total Sabah sales in 2013, and serviced over 14,500 Toyotas last year.

“UMW Toyota plans to invest more than RM500 million for network expansion to meet the increasing demand of Toyota vehicles in the country. This will be done through opening of new outlets, refurbishment and upgrading of existing Toyota facilities to provide better convenience and comfort,” said Datuk Ismet Suki, president of UMWT.

“We will strengthen our operations to meet our sales target of more than 100,000 units in order to achieve market share of close to 15%,” he added.

Having recall doesn’t mean the car is bad, instead it show the car maker’s determination to maintain the close-to-perfection quality offered to their customer.

You never do body check up doesn’t mean you won’t get cancer.

The legendary Proton hardly have any recall, their build quality is the best?

Save up your powderful England and admit the fact.

More 3S centre means more car sales and more public trust on Toyota’s quality.

No need declare RM120k car or said cheap car will break down after three miles!
