Peugeot will be showcasing the Peugeot 208 GTI 30th Anniversary Limited Edition at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed happening later this month. Peugeot gave the RCZ R its debut at last year’s event.
No details on the special edition were released along with the sole teaser image above, but we can see a Union Jack decal – could this be a UK-only special? Peugeot says that it will be giving the new car a Goodwood hillclimb workout.
The mystery 208 GTi will be joined at the show by the 2013 208 T16 Pikes Peak car driven by Sebastian Loeb and the 1988 405 T16 GR Pikes Peak driven by Enda Garvey, both of which will be participating in the hillclimb as well.
The 208 GTi was launched in Malaysia last October. Read our test drive report of the 200 hp hot hatch.

Good design but Peugeots are just way too problematic and unreliable in Malaysia. The Local distributor service standards is of no help either
Nasim delivers display/roadshow unit of its 208GTi to customers and does not make any apologies when they get caught in the act.
And yes, I specifically mentioned many times that I do not want display or test-drive units and willing to wait for a factory fresh unit when placing the order.
Caveat emptor.
Yup…Like father like sons
Went to peugeot showroom last week for 208 gti, unfortunately no car, according to their sales people car will be available in august. Must be selling very good!
Peter,
