Peugeot distributor Nasim has officially opened Peugeot Muar, the fourth new outlet launched this year and the fifth Peugeot outlet in Johor. This brings the total number of Peugeot outlets to 32 nationwide.
The 13,500 sq ft 3S centre is owned and operated by Ang Leng Motor Trading. Built at a cost of RM4.5 million, Peugeot Muar will serve customers in Muar and surrounding areas such as Gerisek, Pagoh, Panchor, Parit Jawa, Sungai Mati, Tangkak, Bukit Gambir and Bukit Pasir.
The outlet is equipped with customer lounges, WiFi, body and paint facilities, as well as five service bays with the capacity to service up to 11 cars a day.
“In 2013, the European market in Johor grew 17%, thereby making it an important market to us. This is in fact the second outlet we have launched in the state this year, after Peugeot JB last month. With new developments currently taking place in Johor, we are better equipped to serve the growing needs of our customers,” said Datuk Samson Anand George, COO of Nasim, who reiterated his company’s target to sell 7,000 cars this year.

What, only can service up to 11 cars per day? hmm….
The 3S Centre is basically 3 shophouses – I’m sure the service centre would be small, hence the low service capacity.
Mapo mapo
Cosmetic only if can only serve 11 cars per day….It should serve at least 25 cars per day..I know the market is not big right now…but if Peugeot can provide at least 25 cars per day then the future owner will not be hesitate to buy peugeot car because the facilities is already there
As long as there are enough small ones… at least that makes it easier to reach. However how well trained will they be? Will they have at least one very experienced mechanic?
Good job peugeot, but make sure spare parts r sufficient.
Other than that, Nasim, please provide more to enhance Peugeot owners’ experience…more SC, more service bay, free GPS navigation upgrade for 206 (nice touch screen display, but no navigation function, no point of having such screen)…
I believe this new 3S centre replace the shared SC (Peugeot, Kia, Ford) that Ang Lee operate at Jalan Sulaiman.
Its not a totally new SC, just an upgrade of an existing SC. A welcome upgrade.
I have very negative experiences with the Naza group.
Their mechanics and storekeepers are hoarding certain parts and I need the intervention of their HQ executive to get my air con control panel part in 48hrs instead of 1-2months.
You can have 7star service centres but what counts is the QUALITY of the people manning the centres.
The Setapak service centre especially is playing “MONKEY” with its customers.
The best car salemen are found in the NAZA grp but the worst service centres are also from them.
I believe you are commenting on the Naza Kia services. Please keep in mind its under different management even though under Naza group. Just like you can’t complain Proton services for Honda and VW news even though they are all associated to DRB Hicom.
I believe Peugeot need to enhance and expand in Klang Valley like KL not Johor in terms of facilities and services. Im a big fan of Peugeot and i have recommended to my friends but have been dissapointed by some sales man and service man. Not all but most of them. My friends who bought Peugeot are already convinced of the product strength and does not need salesman convincing. Most of the salestalk just deter you from buying.
