Driven Web Series – new season to premiere July 9

Yes, the Driven Web Series is back for a brand new season in 2014, brought to you by the new PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 with Advanced Energy Formula. Watch Harvinder, Hafriz and Jonathan put the latest cars to the test to find out which is the best car in each segment.

You’ve seen the clear improvements we’ve made when we progressed from episode 1 to episode 5 in the 2013 season. This year’s season will bring it up to a new level, thanks to bigger production budgets and more episodes as well – yes, for 2014 we have a total of seven episodes for you.

We will be covering all bases – from small to large cars, mainstream cars to niche cars, eco cars to high performance cars. There’ll even be special guest hosts. Watch the teaser video above to find out who, and of course mark your calendar for the first episode which is set to debut next Wednesday, July 9, 2014!

Whats the point of this again? To compare cars, to advertise or to showoff your driving skills?

Please ok…we all know ‘Megan’ is just there for you guys to perform the ‘agar-agar’ test. Such notty. Well not that im complaining though…

Even for a teaser, you were all surprisingly natural (esp Hafriz)! Keep it up! :D

  • Hope you also have a slot for a shootout between a few leading twin cab trucks currently being sold here. I would like to hear what you consider to be the best currently in the market

doubt it. twin cab trucks all use diesel and the show sponsor is ron95.

The sponsor is PETRONAS. PETRONAS also offers diesel.

How can ron95 be sponsor anyway? That’s like saying automatic gearbox is sponsor. Or brown rice is sponsor.

Who’s Megan? I thought Harve was married… Wah naughty ah. :P

And, wait. Sam Loo’s business came crashing is it, so much so he is so desperate to sell you a Hilux or a Vios that he calls 16 times? :O

Jokes aside, looking forward to this season. Hoping that it would be about 20 minutes or so, that would be nice, and hopefully even on the TV screen some day. By far the best Malaysian production to date.

    Paul,
I suggest IF Driven face any monetary difficulties in production. Just open up a donation account. I would be glad to be your Driven first donor.

In 90’s, in paultan.org, I had suggested such assistance before when Karamjit Singh(Flying Sikh) faced low sponsorship for him to continue rallying.

Thank you, paul and all involved in paultan.org and Driven for providing such a platform for motorhead to share their views and knowledge.

I saw Harvinder 2 months ago at a restaurant in Bangsar. Wanted to say hi but at that time I was half drunk and just couldn’t recall his name, and my phone was out of battery so I couldn’t Google.

Sam loo wants to remind them to provide RV as one of criteria being reviewed. Lol

Joke aside, he will say as long as it is not a kimchi it will have RV. The thing is kimchi RV is going better now. At least only slightly lower than proton for new line-ups.

My old 2010 kia forte traded in for 42k+ (original price 81k) if trade in newer kia vehicles would be 46k. Considered very low?
But doesn’t matter, don’t really care much on resale value as long as the Ride is smooth!

KIA cannot even be traded in.

Stop trying to convince yourself that your rotten cabbage is worth that much. For all we know, you sold it to your relative for RM14k

I have a very sincere suggestion for you guys.
Can you add subtitles on as well.
Thanks to our “high speed” broadband, I can’t really hear what you guys are really saying.
Therefore the addition of subtitles will greatly help
    Thanks in advance.

      Yes subtitle would be appreciated.
Some time might able to catch part of it as not everyone English are perfectly pronounced. =) same goes to reader’s.
