Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VGM) recently announced its sponsorship of the Volkswagen Marathon Series 2014. Besides being the title sponsor, VGM will also provide vehicles for safety, medical and logistics purposes.

Organised by The Marathon Shop, this year’s series consists of two “boutique runs” that allow participants to be at one with nature. The first will be The Island Ocean Marathon in Langkawi on August 10, followed by The River Jungle Marathon in Hulu Langat, Selangor, which has apparently been voted the most beautiful marathon route. The latter will take place on September 7.

Both 42.195 km events are open to runners of all ages and divided into two categories – male and female.

“VGM has been the title sponsor for the Marathon Series since its inception in 2011 and this is a partnership that I am personally very happy about. A marathon that drives an appreciation of nature is very much inline with our own Think Blue philosophy which furthers the cause of environmental awareness and sustainability,” said Armin Keller, MD of VGM.

Ah, cause VW owners are used to walk/run a lot when their car has broken down.

    Couldn’t resist.

  • VW encouraging you to walk because you may need to walk home when your DSG fails

Currently,VW have resolved the DSG issues already.
I have fixed my car on last month.
However,it takes 2 days to fix my car but there is no issues anymore after that.
They help me to change the gearbox oil, change the synthetic oil to mineral oil and update the software as well.
By the way, don’t bother too much on the DSG issues bcoz the issue have been resolved.

You should be thankful as it only takes 3 days. Some owners stuck for months.
