Honda Civic Black Edition introduced in the UK

honda-civic-black-edition-uk-a

Honda has launched the Civic Black Edition in the UK. Based on the current-gen Euro-market Civic hatch, the special edition is powered by either a 120 PS/300 Nm 1.6 litre i-DTEC diesel or a 142 PS/174 Nm 1.8 litre i-VTEC petrol engine.

As its name suggests, the vehicle incorporates a number of black styling elements that give it an almost evil look. The bodykit, rear bumper garnish, roof spoiler, funky alloys and fuel flap are presented in gloss black, while an aluminium ‘Black Edition’ badge on the tailgate proudly serves as a name tag.

Similar editions of the CR-V and Jazz are also available in Blighty. Once you go black…

Once you go black, you can never go back. Because too loose for other ‘tools’ already.

I am still baffled on why Honda UK released the Civic model left hand drive version in the UK? (As per illustrated in the photos above).
Are they thinking of expanding the market into other European countries?

I wonder all people comment here working in automotive industry, because when something new out, you guys talk like a “pro”. Honda copy mercedes ideas, proton use audi ideas, toyota steal subaru ideas, ugly deisgn, cheap interior stuff and etc. If you guys have own idea, I really hope you guys manage to do something on automotive industry not just talk like a “pro automotive designer/engineer” here. LOL

Honda’s engine is the most reliable one among all japanese cars.Rarely give much problems unlike those conti. Can rev gao gao till redline 7-8k rpm. Eg: FD2 type R. It’s not the fastest(but still consider fast enough can ta pao many cars) but it is awesome in cornering, track and most importantly “reliability” !! Bravo to honda R&D team. I am owning a 1.8 ivtec FB. Even thou only 1.8 but I able to reach 220 top speed . All stock !
