Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo – GT6 concept teased

Totoya FT-1 Vision GT 1

The Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo, a virtual souped-up version of the Toyota FT-1 sports car concept which debuted in Detroit earlier this year, has been teased through a short video clip. We already saw a teaser sketch as early as the end of last year, and now it’s almost ready for its PlayStation 3 debut.

No details about the Vision GT model, save that it’s the work of the automaker’s Calty Design Research centre in California – the studio also designed the FT-1 show car. The virtual racer is set to make its download debut next month in Gran Turismo 6, as part of the game’s Vision Gran Turismo series.

The cab-backward FT-1 harks towards a new Supra in the not too distant future, and the game version should buff the design up a degree – the glimpse of the virtual racer looks as if things have been sportened up for the PS3 application. A GT500 version of the next Supra for the Super GT race series, maybe?

The show car featured prominent frontal intakes, an F1-style protruding nose and front wing, striking 21-inch wheels wrapped in 245/35 series rubber, large twin tailpipes and a retractable rear wing. Inside, the study has a F1-inspired steering wheel with gear indicator, a swoopy centre console as well as deep bucket seats.

Someone said Toyota doesn’t have new technologies?? Say it again here??

As long as it is not kimchi, it will have RV.

As long as it is not Proton, it will have build quality.

As long it is Toyota, you have RV and reliability on both old and new technologies.

I may add further, Proton is for the poor people of Malaysia. those who cannot afford a Toyota are losers in Malaysia who do not work hard and spend their time just surfing the Internet in the office and looking at girls.

If you work hard and stop looking at girls in the office, you will be able to afford a Toyota and shed this low life Proton car of yours.
