Nissan Sylphy Tuned By Impul introduced – aerokit, bigger wheels and tyres, lower springs

Nissan Sylphy Impul 8

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has introduced the Nissan Sylphy Tuned By Impul, with various bits of added kit not unlike those seen on other Impul packages for the X-Gear, Grand Livina and Almera.

UPDATE: The Nissan Sylphy Tuned By Impul upgrade is available as a full package for RM7,900 for the E variant and RM6,000 for the VL, not RM10,900 and RM10,300 respectively as written earlier.

Outside, there’s an aerokit comprising of front and rear bumper extensions and side skirts. A boot lid lip spoiler is available on the E model; the higher-end VL retains the stock spoiler with an integrated centre brake light. The price of the kit is cheaper for the VL as a result – at RM3,000 – versus the E model’s RM3,600.

Also available are 17-inch Impul Aura SX-20 wheels at RM4,500 for a set of four, while stickier Continental Premium Contact 2 tyres come in at RM1,800 a set. Rounding out the upgrades are a RM1,000 set of Impul sport springs that sit the car 25 mm lower than standard. As a full package, the parts cost a cool RM7,900 for the E and RM6,000 for the VL.

The Nissan Sylphy Tuned By Impul will be shown at the Nissan Teana and Sylphy Public Test Drive Event at Desa ParkCity on August 16 and 17, from 10 am to 10 pm. Discounts on these Impul packages will be offered with the purchase of a new Sylphy.

Nice on, again the sushi cars are impressive. Kimchi cars also not bad, but just lack of RV.

His Proton can smoke this smoke that… It is useful on Christmas as he can smoke turkey for Christmas party.

Proton can’t even make the power window right. What you think of its canggih CVT, VSC, ESP etc.

You can find CVT in Altis. Broaden up your knowledge, Toyota is not only the cheapest Vios.

Exactly!! While other manufacturers are reducing weight, Sylphy add this, add that as though the car can fly to moon??

If bodykit, new shoes can make Sylphy 0-100km/h below 10 second, BUY!!

This aerokit were a choice if not interest just buy the lowest spec.

Not like others brand that force u to buy auto transmission, safety features with aerokit.
Or lowest spec with nothing, not even auto transmission to choose.

this is not tuned by Impul. the engine is not tweaked at all.

rightfully it should be called dressed by Impul.

What is Nissan thinking? Sylphy is good enough as it is, and now they decided to offer to make it look like Toyota Camry (Ugly version)?

And also, 17 inch rims + tuning are not really for comfort-based Sylphy, even you slap it with Brembo brake kits, it is not going to become a fun driving car.

If you want to have a sportier car, just redesign and relaunch those sporty models!

Its not nissan’s fault. Its tan chong motors’ product development & strategy team. Customers who bought ‘sporty’ Impul/Nismo addons finally realized that it cost them the price another car at the higher segment.

It should be written as “dressed up” by Impul. No technical update or improvement.

Another suicide product from Nissan. Having a good engine but sell on par with Civic and Altis at RM 115K? The TCM is dreaming to be on par with T & H.

This Stock is getting high at the yard now and hardly see a slyphy on the road.

Come Oct, the the slyphy and new Teana is giving RM 20K and 15K discount soon.

TCM will be having the worst sale for 2014 despite having launched the new Slyphy and Teana for this year.

I’ve seen several Teana on the road, but surprisingly haven’t seen a single Sylphy since its launch. The Altis 1.8E is a common sight now, although it was launched few months earlier. Both of them are Thai CBU, have good built quality (Australia import both models) but given Malaysians’ obsession with T brand, Nissan ought to reconsider its pricing strategy without omitting the already good safety feature.

By the way, the E spec Sylphy, which should be the value sought after option, looks plain dull inside with that 1980s manual aircon knobs (just like Almera E & V) & plain instrument cluster. Just omit the auto cruise control & LED rear lights, and install digital auto aircon, price it at 100K. Only then it is going to sell, although not as huge as Altis/Civic.
