The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has posted ceiling prices for driving school courses on its Facebook page. All driving institutes and schools must not charge more than these figures for their courses, it said.
Additionally, any driving institute or school charging more than these prices for their courses can be reported to [email protected] or directly to the state JPJ director (Pengarah JPJ Negeri) and director of driver licensing (Pengarah Pelesenan Pemandu) at Head Office, it said.
The release of the ceiling prices predate the implementation of the new Drivers’ Education Curriculum (KPP) syllabus, which has been postponed from August 1. The new curriculum is said to focus on producing courteous and disciplined drivers, rather than the current curriculum’s said dexterity and traffic rule comprehension.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Quite expensive nowadays to get license…….
The higher the cost of getting license…the higher the possibility of undertable money to gerenti lulus the applicant….
ko lulus lesen ko bayar org ke? shame on you
Woi sedara…ko paham ke tak apa yg aku tulis?memang aku bayar…aku bayar kat sekolah memandu dan aku tak perlu bayar undertable sbb masa aku buat takde la semahal sekarang nie….so jgn buat andaian kalo tak kenal orang….
jadi cam member aku.. beli lesen terbang.. bile kantoi jpj.. abis… apa pun sangkut..
OK, the price look reasonable…
Expensive! Pity those average earning parents whom wants their kids to get their licenses!
i tell my kid, want your license? go find work la
To parent’s.
I prefer choose public transport.
No money to pay for licence, don’t even dream to own a car.
And then your kids after bored use public transport for working, they ride motorcycle without license to work to earn money for license. And sadly for several years “tak cukup lagi duit gaji nak wat lesen wooii”
Eleh, kau beli ipad rm1.5k kau tak bising pulak???
assuming semua orang beli ipad lol…
Pity boy who tought every one own an ipad..
Hello bro orang kg yg keje sawah xpakai ipad pon, tapi perlu licence kete/mot utk bawa baja, tanaman padi etc..
So ianya kerperluan, ada paham?
Bukan semua owg kat dunia nie hidup mewah macam ko pkai ipad!
Lol…
Expensive in the quest to obtain a driving license. A middle class people already feel the pinch, whats else on the lower income group.
The prices also yet to include the GST!
Reasonable price. Considering this is the max they can charge
damn its expensive to get a car license..i guess parents need to fork out more for their kids..
as long can kopi o
its ceiling price, can’t you read that. haiyo stupid
reasonable, i remember mine nearly 12 years ago already 950 but including pao on road, now 1k plus not including pao didn’t go up much over 12 years
I just did it last February 2014, RM750 all in. No kopi o needed
expensive? bet you can afford to buy your bike/car…
expensive if you started with zero ..
DA* – Is it for automatic car?
JPJ should just abolish the D-class automatic or restrict it to only for old or disable people. Just take a cheaper normal D-class which is cheaper and can drive both manual and automatic cars afterwards.
Sekiranya saya boleh memandu kedua-duanya. ( auto & manual ) camana ? Takkan mau ambil lesen DA lagi
klu u da ade manual u can drive both la.. aiyo don’t be so stupid la.. DA is only for auto cars.. bodo lah..
Memang bodoh. Ini memang driving instructor yang cakapa. Apa kelayakan jadi instructor? PMR? Mat Rempit? Haha
Patutlah jalan raya banyak accident sekarang.
pity on u,i got lesen instructor from jpj and its call SM2.got exam n test keta, study for exam until late nite…im used to be an engineer..now works wit family bcoz this is my family bisnes.can go obesea 1 or 2 times a year…eksiden happen when u drive like hell..pls polish ur heart..respect others then u will earn that oso.
kursus memandu naik petrol naik bank interest naik cuma harga kereta saja turun 1 peratus. Terima Kasih BN.
lebih kurg sama je harga dgn harga yg aku ambil dulu? apa yg naiknya? aku ambil lesen tahun 2004
You can afford to buy a car but can’t afford to get a licence? Seriously?
99% of the “expensive” complain gotten their licenses using their parent’s money.
Saya setuju harga ambil lesen agak mahal. Dulu ayah dan ibu saya penoreh getah pendapatan tak seberapa. Membesarkan 8 org anak. Hey!. Saya ambil lesen pakai duit sendiri la selepas beberapa tahun menggunakan pengangkutan awam dan jalan kaki. Jangan manjakan anak sangat. Nak lesen kumpul duit sendiri. Kalau sikit lagi tak cukup baru parent topop kan. Atleast ada afford. Kalau kita tak bagi rasuah, rasuah tak akan berlaku. Bukan kita bagi rasuah lepas itu sembunyi tangan kita Dan kata orang tu makan rasuah.
it’s *effort not afford
Tak kan nak sruh mak ayak anta gi keje kot…
Got money then ok..
no money..then..make saving
10 tahun dahulu lesen memandu tak cecah RM700 pun…
Saya dulu ambil lesen kereta(D) dengan motor(B2) semasa diploma baru RM699 tahun 2011. Saya ambil dekat Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. Tapi sekarang tengok sekali ganda baru 3 4 tahun beza. Nanti lagi 3 4 tahun naik lagi sekali ganda. RM1800 kereta dan motor.
Anyone got any lobang to get B2? Currently I have D and GDL. I need B2 on my license without going for test and undang class.
Pay to learn how to drive but most people still suck on the road especially at junction and parking
I should’ve taken B full in the first place. Haishhh
on 2003 i get licence only pay 4oo to get D and 2oo year 99
to get motorbike b2.now all so mahal and one day malaysia
i guess can become like japan one of most expensive country
at south east asia.Compare to salary now be so cIPUTT.
