Peugeot 308 gets new GT Line and Sportium trims

308-gt

Peugeot has added two new trim levels to the new Peugeot 308 range. First, there’s the new GT Line, which you can choose if you want the sporty looks of the proper Peugeot 308 GT but don’t really need the powerful engine. The GT Line trim replaces the Feline trim.

The GT Line trim includes 18 inch ‘Diamant’ alloy wheels, twin exhausts with a black lacquered rear diffuser, and tinted rear side windows. On the inside, there’s half-Alcantara sports seats with red stitching, a ‘GT style’ leather steering wheel with red stitching, ‘GT style’ carpet mats and aluminium pedal and door sill protectors.

The other trim line is the ‘Sportium’ trim, which is available exclusively with the 1.2 litre PureTech three-cylinder engine in a hatchback body.

It’s based on the Access trim and adds on 16-inch ‘Diamond’ alloy wheels, driver’s lumbar support, rear parking sensors, leather steering wheel, leather gearstick gaiter, plus automatic headlamps and wipers.

The Peugeot 308 was previewed to dealers in Malaysia recently by Malaysian Peugeot distributor Nasim Sdn Bhd. Although the preview car was a 2.0 BlueHDi turbodiesel unit, we can’t confirm that Nasim will introduce a diesel variant in Malaysia. An introduction sometime in Q1 2015 was stipulated.

I have owned pug 207 & 5008 since 2011. I don’t think you have owned any of the models coz your words did not reflect the reality. Until this moment they are very reliable not only in service reservations but also in getting the spare parts within a short space of time. The warranty replacement for any factory defect items were superb. Never questioned as long as they are still under warranty. All together, I am satisfied with their after sales service and the cars performance are up to my expectations.

Maybe it is best if you just stick to 2-wheels… of the small cc type. It’s probably best for your budget.

That peugeot nameplate disrupting the front grill is off-putting design wise.

I had test drive a Peugeot 3008 before, it is very disappointing to me. Upon looking around the test car, one of the middle seat was jammed, and a lot of plastic switches came loose from their fittings. The sales adviser told me that frequent usage by previous test drivers and their children pushing and pulling in the car lead to these damages. Right away, it portrayed to me the interior equipment of the car is unreliable. Although it is surprisingly comfortable and great for driving around highways, I am staying away from French cars for the time being. Just my humble opinion.

For all the dealers out there, please maintain your test drive car properly!

some kids seriously go about trying to destroy test drive cars – especially the column stalks. and worse still, their parents say nothing at all. it is irresponsible but happens all the time.
