Ford Malaysia has recently announced its best-ever September performance in Malaysia, with sales increasing 52 percent to 1,183 units. The record for quarterly sales has seen an increase of 55 percent to 3,697 units – an all-time record quarter in Malaysia.

“We’re proud of the increasing appeal of the Ford brand in Malaysia and all the new to Ford customers that we’re able to serve. Our vehicle line-up represents the best of Ford – including a strong focus on safety, performance, fuel efficiency, smart technologies and head-turning style,” said David Westerman, managing director for Malaysia and Asia Pacific Emerging Markets.

Models like the Ranger, Fiesta – both in 1.5 litre Ti-VCT and 1.0 litre Ecoboost trim, the Kuga and Focus were all equally responsible for the surge in sales which sees the company en route to marking a year-to-date retail sales figure of 10,217 units, an increase of 34 percent.

Furthermore, the new EcoSport compact SUV is set to further boost sales figures as deliveries have begun since September, with 82 units delivered. “We expect to increase deliveries of EcoSport throughout the fourth quarter,” said Westerman.

Yes, delivers best even you pay deposit and not guarantee you can get the vehicle during promotion period. Therefore, no need pay deposit and apply your car loan first for Ford.

Yazid, cool down bro. If you are in Klang Valley, replacement should not be a problem. My wife’s unit scheduled (confirmed) for Nov replacement. The problem is not the clutch but the oil seal that leaks. That problem is worldwide and problem has been solved. They are responsible and are replacing for us. Compared to VW, we are a lot lot better.

Colin.FYI…they will replace the clutch…its not the oil seal problem. although i do frequently hear that is the case. B4 this i waited for the clutch replacement for almost 4 months. i was rescheduled for about 3 -4 times bcoz no spare part. finally when the clutch was available, i happily sent the car for replacement. that also i had to call them to find out wether the parts are available or not. Had to leave the car for 1 week for the replacement. A week later when i came back 4 the car, they told me, while replacing the clutch, they received an email from Sime Darby stating that there are also some additional parts also requires replacing. So they decided to fix back the old clutch and wait for the additional parts to arrive and replace it together later..dont have to do kerja dua kali. Somehow they promise me that MAYBE sime darby will send a letter or email MAYBE to inform me on the extension warranty for the clutch. They are not sure. They also not sure when the additional parts will arrive. Dunno maybe have to wait from US or Thailand. This email i have not receive until today…and its been almost a month already….and i have one year left on my warranty. What happens after that?.Asked the service advisor how much to replace the clutch if no warranty? Estimation RM 3k not inclusive labor. So u still think i should cool down? Sorry bro…i used to own a Gen2…never had gear box prob for 6 yrs….And im no proton salesman aaa….

Awi. try to ask the mechanic to downgrade the gearbox ECU of something. it does help with the judder…slightly.
