The F55 MINI 5 Door has been teased, with a mobile display unit roaming the streets of Kuala Lumpur to help drum up some hype prior to its official unveiling. Brilliant mark of advertising aside, the new car is slated to arrive in showrooms on November 15, which is less than two weeks away.
Under the hood lies a number of powertrain options which includes the B48 2.0 litre, four-cylinder turbo engine with 192 hp and 280 Nm of torque in the Cooper S variant. The Cooper and One version comes with a 1.5 litre, three-cylinder turbo mill with 136 hp with 220 Nm and 102 hp with 180 Nm, respectively.
If you want to see the car in person, the mobile display unit will be making a stop at both the Pavilion KL shopping mall and Suria KLCC from 7-8pm today. In the meantime, check out our review of the car to discover for yourself how it fares in our books.

Wow that was quick, for Mini to bring this baby here but won’t be interested to see its price tag when it arrives here. Bet the Cooper version will be close to RM200k without any tech pack.
I agree, quick move in bringing the car over *thumbs up* wish it was the same case with Peugeot’s 308
Agree, at least they don’t make you wait 3 months to get the base model like P1 or P2
4 doors should have less tax than 2 doors?
A much better car than either Axia or Iriz
yes with much expensive price tag of course…
is there anybody here thought that all minis looks the same and people just don’t care whether its a new model or previous one
Gregory, do note that Mini One uses a 1.2 unit of the TwinPower Turbo, not a downsized 1.5 TwinPower Turbo.
