Famed tuning house Novitec has released an upgrade pack for the Maserati Ghibli via its Maserati-specific division, Novitec Tridente. The makeover consists of aesthetics as well performance enhancements – which involve both diesel and petrol variants of the Ghibli.

Under the N-TRONIC tuning umbrella, the diesel Ghibli gets its power boosted from 271 hp to 322 hp, while torque jumps from 570 Nm to 680 Nm when fitted with the engine upgrade pack. When fitted to the eight-speed automatic transmission, the 0-100 km/h sprint gets dispatched in 5.7 seconds.

With the package applied to the flagship Ghibli S Q4 variant, the car gets from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds before topping out at 294 km/h.

Cosmetic enhancements include 22-inch rims – offered in silver, matte black, titanium or polished titanium – wrapped in 255/30 Pirelli P-Zeros for the front and 315/25 at the back. A sports suspension kit, which lowers the car by 35 mm and various carbon add-ons in the form of a front spoiler, side skirts and rear lip spoiler are also available.

The most beautiful of all the current Executive Sedans. Although I think Maserati should consider a more entry level engines for this car such as N.A version of the 3.0L V6, to better compete for the market share with ze Germans..

seen the car in person at naza italia…it’s actually pretty ugly for maserati standards, interior feels a bit on the cheap side. performance, nothing exceptional. however the USP for this car is the sound it makes, they are just damn good in that.
