The Qoros SUV seen undergoing running trials in camouflaged prototype form back in September is set to be officially revealed – the Qoros 3 City SUV will be unveiled in Guangzhou next week. The Chinese-Israeli automaker has offered a glimpse of what its third production model will shape up like through two sketches.
No details as yet about the SUV, except that it’ll offer generous space and “more control for an exciting driving experience,” and feature the brand’s pioneering and award-winning QorosQloud connected services platform.
As far as looks go, pretty sharp-looking suit, as you’d expect from the brand – those wheels look a bit OTT, but the overall styling is clean and very much in line with that seen on the Qoros 3 Hatch and 3 Sedan, especially in front. Twin exhaust pipes at each end of the car remain, again taking another styling cue from the Qoros 3.
Will it be equipped with the same 1.6 litre four-cylinder mill (available in naturally-aspirated (126 hp/155 Nm and turbocharged 156 hp/210 Nm forms) as its siblings? We’ll know more about the Qoros 3 City SUV when it makes its debut. Series production, when it happens, will take place in Changshu, which is where the 3 Sedan and 3 Hatch are being built. More next week.
