What’s this, a sportier version of the Rolls-Royce Wraith? It seems that RR is no longer content with nearly dominating the upper echelons of the luxury market, and has decided to eat Bentley‘s lunch on the performance side of things as well.
The test mule snapped by our European spy photographers looks practically identical to a “standard” Wraith with the exception of a large front air dam and rear boot lid spoiler. For now, these additions do look fairly crass, but as these are development items held together with some masking tape, we expect proper production units to look much better.
Under the skin, we should see a suspension setup stiffer still than what the regular Wraith offers over the Ghost, as well as possibly a power bump. Given that the standard Wraith already produces 624 hp and a heady 800 Nm, any increase in motive force is likely to be minimal.
This, of course, won’t be the first hardened-up Roller – earlier in the year, the company released the Ghost V-Specification, which added 40 hp (up to 601 hp), lighter 21-inch wheels and some interior trim extras.

Seen a standard one on the road, you really have to look at it in flesh to admire its beauty and subsequently look into your wallet and bank accounts to admire the vast gap between the balance you have and the price of the car…
well, this certainly is going head on with Bentley Continental GT. the rear doesn’t look good at all. so much resemblance to Rover’s tail. *ouch*
