Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and dealer NZ Wheels recently announced construction plans of a new RM17 million Autohaus in Kuantan. Located along Jalan Teluk Sisek, the new 3S facility is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2015. When completed, it will be NZ Wheels’ fifth Mercedes-Benz Autohaus.
The two-storey 45,000 sq.ft. Autohaus will have the capacity to showcase eight vehicles, and 10 service bays manned by over 20 personnel. Meeting the standards of the Mercedes-Benz Presentation System (MPS II), a benchmark of showroom design, it will also mark the beginning of the refurbishment of the Mercedes-Benz network outside of the Klang Valley.
To date, NZ Wheels has invested a total of RM49.4 million in its Mercedes-Benz Malaysia dealerships in Klang, Bangsar, Johor and Labuan. Construction of the Kuantan Autohaus is expected to begin next month.
