JPJ update: computerised systems now back online

jpj logo The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has announced that its computerised systems are now back online, following a technical disruption since 4.30 pm on Tuesday, November 25.

It was announced yesterday that all counter services at all JPJ offices and branches nationwide had been suspended due to a technical issue brought about by building works at and around its data centre located in Cyberjaya. Applications through its online portal were also affected by this service disruption.

Thankfully, full services have resumed as of now.

Someone should take accountability for such a major glitch.
Where is their Business continuity and disaster recover plan?
I can accept that accidents happen. But I can’t understand why there is no backup solution.
