At the ‘Nissan 370Z Drift Experience’ event in Dubai, Nissan Middle East has successfully set a new Guinness record for the longest twin vehicle drift. Utilising a Nissan 370Z and a Nissan 350Z, the duo held the slide for a distance of 28.52 km and was set during their second attempt.
The ‘Nissan 370Z Drift Experience’ is a collaboration between Nissan Middle East and the Prodrift Academy whereby individuals will receive the opportunity to learn the art of drifting in a controlled environment. The syllabus is conducted by the instructors of Prodrift Academy.
“We have proven again the strength of our vehicles by adding another Guinness World Records record to our list. The Nissan Z is a very popular car in the drifting scene, and this new record is yet another proof on the ability of this car to make drifting look so easy,” said Nissan Middle East managing director, Samir Cherfan.
Nissan’s 370Z is powered by the VQ37VHR 3.7 litre, naturally-aspirated V6 engine. Power figures include a hp rating of 332 and 366 Nm of torque, mated to either a seven-speed automatic or a six-speed manual with SynchroRev Match – a system which rev matches the engine speed on downshifts.

The Z is the forgotten Legend since the much powerful GT-R hit the market in 2008. But still a descent entry level sport cars that have the best of value in term of dollar per pony.
The fairlady became a shame when Nissan decided to make a mediocre 350z. Decent entry? I think it’s more for those fanboys of the past Z.
Don’t believe? Go youtube see the races between jdm done by the drift king. Even a tuned up 350/370 lost to something it should have lost (like a Civic Type R? What the heck)
Legendary Z start from 70s.
Look at current Z.
It’s just a heavy fun car for drift.
28.52km!!!!??? I wonder how the tyres can still hold up
from the picture, because got water on the road/surface, that’s why the tyres can still hold up.. i think lor
