2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i AWD on oto.my for RM225k

2015-subaru-outback-oto-ad

Here’s something interesting to take note of – it appears that a lone ad for the 2015 Subaru Outback, pictured here in 2.5i AWD trim, has surfaced on our sister classifieds site, oto.my. Unfortunately, those looking for an in-depth view of the car will be disappointed to know that said ad features only a sole shot of the car.

Safe to say then that a local launch for the jacked-up Legacy is not too far away. Other details disclosed in the ad include a price tag of RM224,885.90, on-the-road with insurance along with mentions of a five-year warranty with labour charges waived for the next five years.

Additional bits of info include a CBU mention for the Outback along with its 2.5 litre Boxer four-cylinder engine and trademark Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Other features include the adoption of Vehicle Dynamics Control and 18-inch alloy wheels. Watch this space very, very closely.

MI decided to bring this instead of the new Legacy sedan & wagon, which the Outback is based on. Its not a bad car the Outback, but the design is typical Subaru function over form. Wonder if they will bring in the eyesight system?

Was hoping for MI to bring in the Levorg as well, seeing that its finally to be released in Europe. Guess MI does not see the viablity of bringing in that hot wagon.

Like its name. Subaru has became the legacy. Not for this generation anymore.

    • first the bmw is an ugly car, other than the premium branding, the subaru is way superior in many ways especially reliability and that awd awesomeness

Only BRZ with turbo can command RM238 888, higher price than this Outback. The NA kura-kura is better priced at RM198 888.
