Perodua’s flagship one-stop 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre in Section 19, Petaling Jaya opens its doors for business today. The new facility, called Perodua Sentral, acts as a new benchmark for the brand as it focuses on seamless sales and after-sales operations for the convenience of customers.
“This new outlet will set a new standard and benchmark for all our other outlets in the country with focus on delighting our customers. It will be a ‘game changer’ as we continue to strengthen our brand and position in the domestic market while increasing our visibility in the regional footprint,” said Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh, Perodua’s president and CEO.
“Perodua Sentral is a new beginning, a new transformation for Perodua as we work to delight our customers on a personal level from the very moment he or she enters our gates. This facility will also have Perodua’s very own cafe within the showroom, which will feature a signature dish for anyone who wishes to stop by and visit us,” he added.
The impressive looking structure, which cost almost RM40 million to build, has two basement parking levels (184 bays), a sales showroom, 37 service bays, two floors for sales and after-sales operations and another floor for events. P2 is now working to replicate this flagship centre in selected regions.
Malaysia’s market leader recently reported first quarter sales that jumped 30% year-on-year, and highest ever monthly sales in March. The strong performance was fuelled by strong demand for the Axia, which has collected over 100,000 bookings since mid-August 2014.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
went there this morning.
environment is cozy.
feels on par with any mercedes service centre by CCB or hap seng star
good job perodua
No wonder some idiots thought of their MyVis being Ferraris on the road killing innocent people – someone here thinks that Perodua is on par with Mercedes…
Obviously im referring to the building’s environment not the car itself.
dont stupid can?
And obviously I’m referring to some idiots who thinks their MyVis are Ferraris, just like how you refer to their building being on par with Mercedes’… Same kind of mentality.
Just look at the damn big picture, and learn how to read between the lines…
what you said is crystal clear and now ur twisting it. I could go on with my argument but I realized theres no point in debating with people like you.Anyone here can easily judge your shallow-ness.
Better you stop right there before you embarrass yourself. First, he’s just commenting on the enviroment of the showroom and seriously, the headline itself was about the flagship showroom not the car. Second, remember the Singapore’s incident which the Ferrari owner crashed at the taxi and cause the driver fatality? Leaving a widow and a children? So stop attacking Myvi, Ferrari or what god sake the brand is! SPEED KILLS, PEOPLE KILLS…nuff said! There’s no car could move by itself and speeding killing others nor a gun cockin’ itself and shot others. Sigh!
SPEED DOESN’T KILL! SUDDENLY BECOMES STATIONARY, THAT’S WHAT GET YOU! – J.Clarkson.
Can do so posh but basic VSC also which saves lives, that Perodua cannot give.
But the kampung people will say kita mesti bercukut kerana Perodua buat tempat canggih dan ber aircon untuk rehat, failing to see their cars are a moving coffin
Why waste 40 million on a useless building when they can invest it on churning out safer cars with built in electronic stability control…?
Just what the heck are these bastards up the corporate chain thinking…?
typical malaysian mentality.. apa pun tak boleh!
I’m impressed with the sheer size of it.
wow, 1st 3S flagship Perodua in Malaysia for 1st time history
perodua should stop making their cars with exaggerated bodykits which cause the owner to think their are driving a hot hatch !!!
You know what? You’re right.
Wasting RM – Better use those amount to give Malaysian Better Quality and Cheaper Price of car!
This is another ‘RM Project’ !?!
shoooo shooo pakatrooper go away. no politics please. automotive only
It is you who sees that comment as being politically motivated…
I concur it’s a waste of money, better spent on putting ESC into their cars and make them safer on the road…
u so blind u cannot see what the bn policy do for the malaysia? wake up and make change for next election.
We are buying super high price car with kosong spec.
Less bags, lack of ESP, some SV version even without ABS!
Why? it’s related to Gov policy.
Gov policy link to some certain ppl personal interest.
Why need AP? Why high tax?
Where money goes?
When Janji car drop 30 % ditepati & dicapai?
No more fuel/gas subsidy. Car still high tax?
Honestly, nobody like to make big changes.
However, current situation is too ridiculous!
G is supposed to work for rakyat.
But here, Rakyat is G’s slave.
Out of topic here. I still prefer the Myvi with Optitron lights on the meter. Why can’t they just add a headlamp “on” indicator on the meter rather than removing it? I rented a Proton Preve when I was in Langkawi last weekend and was impress that Proton can do this while P2 can’t!
This is what happens when people want cheaper cars…
Too bad they just took the wrong step and put their money to make their SC as grand as Mercedes as per one bastard up the comment chain thinks… Damn bloody kampung mentality…
Tak suka jangan beli..apa dah lu orang..suka komen lebih..tak suka tak payah nak sakit hati la..
Bangang macam menteri…! Pergi belilah banyak lagi kereta Perodua ni… Duit lu dah kasi bazir buat SC macam Mercedes, tapi kereta tak selamat kat jalan bunuh org.
I think deep inside Myvi is actually a rempit car where the Satria Wira modders used to drive, which explains why they have SE, Extreme, GTR, GT3, Speciale or Veyron version of the humble Myvi. Perodua please be responsible by upgrading the safety features of your cars. It is a high time to install a traction stability control on your cars. After the RempitMyvi aftermath, I would rather be in an Iriz.
This is to fish those Myvi customers that tukar minyak enjin kat bengkel lepas 1K mah.
Looks awesome and futuristic, I’ll try to visit one of these days.
I will admit that Perodua’s aftersales division and service centres are much better than Proton’s… if only because Perodua has a mere 3 or 4 models to specialise on, while Proton has many more. Perodua also has money to spend on their employees, more factories and aftersales infrastructure and general self-improvement, meanwhile most of Proton’s (already limited) money goes to R&D (which Perodua doesn’t need to worry about because most of their core R&D is done by the Toyota group).
Anyway, it’s the rakyat who will untung more with better service centres nationwide for all manufacturers, so I will of course give my dua tangan thumbs up for this.
Perodua Sentral? Is it a bus terminus?
Perhaps, those myvi are YRV turbo engine.
That’s why can reach flying speed.
From this issues, we learn that ESC/ESP is damn important.
Higher car doesn’t mean is iron safe.
THe high gravity easy to get loss control.
Mitsubishi crash test result usually lower than others jap car.
This was told by ex mitsu japanese engineer.
Anyway, drive safe, UMW, Perodua, Proton,
stop selling car without ABS & ESP.
The money paid by us are more than enough to cover the ABS & ESP module.
NHTSA did lot of flip & side test on 4×4 or SUV.
So far, Tiguan perform best in this category.
Others are less satisfied.
Impressive building, I believe in customer service that touch the customer hearts from the car arrived at the building entrance till to the service counter and not so much of cosmetic dress up.
I assumed P2 mean ‘delighting’ has to do about increase the service benchmark of staff attitude, highly trained staff, KPI’s on quality of work and on-time delivery. Plus improved IT system and CRM system.
Lastly P2, still lacking of safety features, work on that next.
Does proton has their own 3S centre?
