Lorinser has rolled out a tuning package for the W205 Mercedes-Benz C-Class – more specifically, the (AMG models apart) range-topping C 400 4Matic. Mild cosmetic changes and engine upgrades are included here.
On the outside, the most noticeable change is the blacked-out grille with a big Lorinser logo instead of the usual Mercedes-Benz star. The front and rear bumpers are styled to give the car a more aggressive stance, while the chrome-finished quadruple exhaust pipes are there for pure aggression. A set of unique alloy wheels complete the dress-up kit.
On the engine front, Lorinser has amped up the C 400’s direct-injected 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 engine to produce 383 hp and 580 Nm of torque. That’s a 55 hp and 100 Nm bump over the standard car. No performance figures have been quoted, but expect it to better the base car’s 0-100 km/h time of 5.2 seconds quite considerably.
