If you’re a car person, you’ll most likely recognise this orange 1993 Toyota Supra Mk4. Yep, it’s the one the late Paul Walker championed in the original The Fast and the Furious movie in 2001. Oh yes, that film aired that long ago – you can go ahead and feel old now.
This very car went on sale at Mecum Auctions in the US recently, and someone paid a handsome fee to own Brian O’Connor’s so-called “ten-second car.” How handsome, we hear you ask? About US$185,000 (RM669k) – enough to buy a brand new Porsche 911 Turbo S in the land of the free.

Instead of the top-of-the-range 911’s 560 hp however, the Supra’s stock-standard 3.0 litre inline-six engine makes just 220 hp, paired to a five-speed manual transmission. And as was portrayed in the film, there’s a twin Holley Performance nitrous oxide bottles mounted in the rear compartment, but it’s not actually attached to the engine. It’s all show but no go, unfortunately.
But what a show it is. Fans will surely recognise the now (almost) iconic Bomex bodykit, APR wing, Dazz alloy wheels and unique decals. Other than the visual add-ons, the stunt-ready Supra is also fitted with a safety roll cage, hardened suspensions and a stripped-out interior. As far as movie memorabilia go, it doesn’t get much better than this, does it?
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
This is great RV
You seriously should reconsider your life as a RV supporter. As if people would sell their car right after buying it, isn’t it? Let people decide based on other stuff like driving experience, after sales service and fuel efficiency instead, would you?
Paul, rest in peace and your memory of Fast and Furious is always with your Team family.
