Nissan UEFA Champions League Campaign, Round 2 – three lucky winners will catch the finals in Berlin

Round 2 of the Nissan UEFA Champions League Campaign has ended, and three lucky customers who bought Nissan cars between March and April are on their way to Berlin to watch the UEFA Champions League Final, all expenses paid!

The winners are Teh Shi Jien, who bought an Almera 1.5 E AT from Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) Shah Alam; Nor Khairi Kamaruddin, who bought a Grand Livina 1.8 AT from ETCM Kuala Selangor; and Madam Lee Kah Guek, who bought an Almera 1.5 E AT from ETCM Johor Bahru. They will be watching Spanish champions Barcelona face Italian champions Juventus on June 6 (tomorrow) at Berlin’s Olympiastadion.

Nor Khairi, 38, was disappointed that Bayern Munich, his favourite team, did not make it to the Final, but nevertheless, he couldn’t wait to see Barcelona and Juventus duke it out before his very eyes.

“I knew about ETCM’s UEFA Champions League Campaign and that there were tickets to be won, but I didn’t think I would be a winner when I purchased the Grand Livina,” said Nor Khairi. “This is an absolute dream come true! Now I am on the ‘Road to Berlin’, all thanks to ETCM,” he said.

Last year, Nissan signed a four-year global partnership with UEFA, establishing it as a Proud Sponsor of Europe’s most prestigious club tournament. The Japanese carmaker will provide over 100 Leaf and e-NV200 electric vehicles to ferry guests and officials around Berlin, and 129 charging stations will be installed around the city.

Additionally, Nissan will unveil a special installation at the UEFA Champions Festival in Berlin and invite fans to ‘generate’ an equivalent amount of energy which will go towards powering the ‘trophy ride’.

Participants who generate the most kilowatts will receive tickets to the Final as well as an exclusive opportunity to accompany the trophy on its journey from the UEFA Champions Festival to the stadium on match day in a specially-designed e-NV200.

“This partnership has resulted in work to be proud of, and we believe it will continue to elevate the Nissan brand globally and here in Malaysia.
