The Middle East is synonymous for many things, oil – lots of it, sports cars on every corner and of course, big luxury SUVs. It’s no wonder why, then, the first spyshots of the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser came from the very region, taken by the same Instagram user that leaked the brochure scans earlier.
Design-wise, it’s exactly the same as the official documents that were released earlier on. While the exact specifications might require a little bit more of a wait, the little V8 tag in the back serves to confirm the engine that you’ll find in the facelifted Land Cruiser.
One subtle difference compared to the leaked brochure is a curvier bumper and a small chrome element in the front. Shaped like a bullbar, it looks like it’s part of the bumper’s design, making the Land Cruiser appear classier. On the back, the Land Cruiser might be receiving full LED treatment as well.
This sure looks like it’ll be a grey import hit, particularly on East Malaysian roads, doesn’t it?
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Ford wannabe :/
ok, this is kinda ugly…
Copycat face of Ford Everest?
I completely lost my appetite after seeing only the Toyota grille….
I pity the Toyota salesman having to stare at this hideous car for 8 hours a day at their showroom. The sales must be nearing zero.
These are very good vehicles, I had them for many years in sandy land where I was posted. Then I test drove the Nissan Patrol and bought that for my personal use. The land bruiser do not stack up to the Patrol in all areas except old reputation. I prefer the better package from Nissan.
