Remember Mercedes-AMG’s “something fast” teaser video posted a few days ago? More has been revealed today in the form of a set of photos showing a camo-ed car on a track.
The car is at first glance recognisable as some kind of derivative of an AMG C-Class. Large cross-drilled brake discs can be seen peeking through the black alloys in the shot above.
This particular image tells it all – the roofline together with the position where the seat belt seems anchored are tell tales that this is a coupe. This should be the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupe, which should feature a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 producing 476 hp, 650 Nm for the regular version and 510 hp, 700 Nm for the C 63 S.
The regular C-Class Coupe hasn’t even been revealed yet so it looks like Mercedes-Benz will be revealing the regular C-Class and the AMG C 63 Coupe at the same time. No point staggering the release I suppose, since the sedan version of the C 63 is already out there.
