What a sight for sore eyes, especially if you love the colour green. Mercedes-Benz of South Africa has come up with a limited-run of C 63 AMG Coupes to mark the end of the model’s run. The Legacy Edition, as it’s known as, will only be sold in South Africa, and production will be limited to just 10 units.
On the outside, the two-door coupe wears an undeniably striking colour that’s befitting of its name – Viper Green. The edition is fitted with 10-spoke matte black alloys and an aerodynamic rear wing, and inside, each of the 10 vehicles features a specially-marked plaque to remind its owners of the exclusivity of the model
The Legacy Edition is the final AMG C-Class to wear the legendary, beautiful sounding 6.2 litre V8 normally-aspirated mill, here offering 506 PS and 610 Nm in output and paired with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission. The century sprint on this one is done in just 4.2 seconds.
The new C 63 replaces the M156 with a 4.0 litre V8 twin-turbo, as seen in the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. While power figures and 0-100km/h times for the new twin-charged engine won’t be an issue, there may be contention about the sound. Without the 6.2 litre V8’s awesome roar, will true C63 AMG enthusiasts be that enthused?

Why not just build 1?
IMO this C63 looks more badass than the current one. Same goes for the S63 AMG.
Agree!!! The new is very rounded and not sharp enough. The back is….yuckkskssss
In terms of sports car, I still prefer big cc NA compared to smaller cc turbo engine. The engine response and high revving sound is simply addictive.
