VIDEO: New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV teased again

Mitsubishi Motors Thailand is gearing up for the world debut of the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, which will happen on August 1 at the Big Motor Sale in BITEC, Bangkok. The company has released its second video teaser of the seven-seat SUV, which carries a “Designed For Perfection” slogan in the Land of Smiles.

The new video shows a robot sketching out the new Pajero Sport, but there’s nothing we haven’t already seen thanks to an earlier, much more revealing video, as well as spyshots of the SUV undergoing a commercial shoot and patent images. It’s based on the Triton pick-up truck, but gets a unique face and design just like the latest Ford Everest and just-launched Toyota Fortuner.

If the Pajero Sport’s bold front end design looks familiar, it’s because the ‘Dynamic Shield’ look has been used on the latest Outlander as well as concept cars like the XR-PHEV. Chrome strips underline the headlamps and also border the grille and fog lamps. The SUV’s rear end sports lights with vertical ‘tails’ for a unique LED signature.

Two fresh spyshots have been added to the gallery below, but it won’t be long now before we get a proper look at the new Pajero Sport. Will it get a unique dashboard as well?

For us to get Mitsu’s latest engine in Malaysia, the fuel quality needs to increase first.
