Shell Euro 4M V-Power 97 in Sept, Euro 5 Diesel Q4 – also raises RM700,000 for underprivileged children

It has been announced that Shell Euro 4M V-Power 97 fuel will be available in September 2015, while the brand’s Euro 5 diesel will be around in selection locations in the fourth quarter of this year. That’s good news for motorists who seek greater performance and efficiency.

The company also successfully raised RM700,000 for underprivileged children through its balik kampung campaign, dubbed “Pump 14, 16, 18”. The campaign saw Shell donating 1 sen for every litre of fuel pumped at its stations nationwide.

“We were informed that many motorists purposely chose to fill up their tanks on the days of the campaign, July 14, 16 and 18. I personally thank all who participated, as your efforts will help build a better future for these children,” said Tuan Haji Azman Ismail, Managing Director of Shell Malaysia Trading and Shell Timur.

Shell managed to surpass its original target of RM500,000 for five selected charitable organisations, namely: The Budimas Charitable Foundation, The Nasi Lemak Project, Yayasan Chow Kit, Persatuan Kebajikan Pendidikan Kanak-Kanak Miskin (Sabah) and Yayasan Kemajuan Insan Sarawak.

The money will be utilised to support development programmes that will influence approximately 3,500 children of all races to learn new skill sets and develop them to their fullest potential. Shell is also working in partnership with these organisations to develop a long-term programme so that Shell staff, their families, retailers, and business partners can actively support their work.

    • Like any other malaysian GLC, they treat us malaysian like no class at all. Like parasites, they leach our money like crazy and give us substandard service or product in return.

Good news to have euro 5 diesel in malaysia but the petrol standard euro 4 only apply for v-power 97 only. Hope the oil and gas companies will implement euro 4 for ron 95 in near future.

Dear Paul, the RON95 vs. RON97 comparison you made previously was for lower compression ratio cars, have you ever thought of redoing this experiment on high engine compression ratio cars? Mazda Skyactiv-G engines perhaps?
