DAMD is a Japanese tuning house that brings a sense of quirky yet stylish panache to its creations. Its latest creation, the Toyota 86 Vantage, is yet another tribute to its eclectic sense of design. Taking the design cues from an Aston Martin Vantage, the coupe sports a new front bumper with Aston’s signature grille design.
A new rear bumper, trunk spoiler, front fender trim and mirror caps give it that unmistakable look. Large 19-inch RAYS rims with Bridgestone Potenza tyres, complemented by ACRE brakes, Spirit Racing custom shocks and a ram air intake developed by DAMD complete the package.
On the inside, there is dark brown leather that is utilised for the dashboard, gear shifter, doors, hand brake and centre console too. The seats have a lighter brown variant of leather to give a delightfully classy look.
A quick check on the website tells us that the whole package costs about 820,000 yen (RM25,500). Now that’s a bargain for an Aston Martin Vantage-like treatment for a Toyota 86. Or is it?

This car just lost its identity. More cut and paste job for cars. Can we foresee more Aston martin fronts in various cars with their original butts?
