Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet officially rendered

s class carboy rendered

As we reported earlier, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet had already been spotted testing with not much camouflage, and it was pretty evident that its had a folding soft-top roof and lots of styling cues from the S-Class Coupe.

But now, we have something different for your eyes to feast on. This is the first official rendering of the S-Class Cabriolet, and it’s absolutely stunning. Gloriously sublime, actually.

The angle of this rendering showcases the majestic interior and rear taillights that seem to be quite akin to the S-Class Coupe. Nonetheless, it will definitely be a showstopper in the ultra high-end luxury drop-top class.

Much speculation is centred on the choices of powertrains available. There are rumours that engine line-up will match that of the S-Class Coupe. Furthermore, there could be AMG versions of this gorgeous ride too.

Perhaps the 5.5 litre twin turbo V8 from the S 63 with 577hp and the 6.0 litre twin-turbo V12 from the S 65 could make an appearance as well. Everyone will be on the lookout for the unveiling of this showstopper at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show that gets underway on September 15.

  • You see Chin, this is how you render a car. Not taking parts of different cars and stitch it all together in photoshop
