Nissan Merdeka promo – win TAG Heuer Nismo watch!

Merdeka Promotion 2015

As the Merdeka season begins to descend upon us, promotions are starting to come in from the various car brands. The latest is from Nissan, as Edaran Tan Chong Motor reveals its 58 Years and Still Growing Strong campaign in conjunction with Malaysia’s 58th year of independence.

Customers who purchase any Nissan vehicle this August will be eligible to participate in a lucky draw, with three winners walking away with a TAG Heuer Carrera Nismo Calibre 16 Day-Date Chronograph Special Edition watch worth RM19,500 each. Commemorating Nissan’s return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it features a titanium casing and is finished in Nismo’s signature black, charcoal grey and red colours.

Additionally, ETCM is continuing its RM1.00 Promotion Campaign, which enables customers to purchase a Nismo aerokit for the Almera, an Impul aerokit for the Grand Livina or Sylphy, a TCAT eight-inch touchscreen navigation system for the Teana or X-Trail 2.5 or leather upholstery for the X-Trail 2.0 for just RM1.

I doubt the effectiveness of such promotions in swaying away buyers who already set their mind on Honda or Toyoda…would i purposely buy X brand just to win certain prices? Maybe only potential buyers who in their mind already decided to buy x brand will do so to book nw

well you are right. But this promo is for undecided yet customer….Toyota ka…Honda ka…or Nissan ka….and also as you notice, in the month of August/ September, all makers give promo @ discounts to just keep up with slow month sales especially after Raya season and also to clear out stocks before coming to year end.

  • True but it will make fence sitters decide faster. And its an excuse to just promote the brand if anything.

Found out that there’s a promo here which Nissan MIGHT not honor. I have sent them a mail and awaiting for reply. Having said that, that’s not typo in this article as the promo was shown on their nissan.com.my, which has since been taken off already. Let’s see.
