Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Edition 1 spotted in Malaysia

First C63s Edition 1 in Malaysia

Here’s something that’s bound to pique your interest. A sole unit of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Edition 1 has been captured by KAHWENG’s Pictures plying the streets of Kuala Lumpur during the KL City Grand Prix weekend. Now while we know that the fire-breathing C-Class has yet to receive its local launch, this sole image could serve as the biggest hint of its imminent arrival yet.

To further whet one’s appetite, this particular C 63 S is that of the Edition 1 variant. As such, it gets 19-inch cross-spoke forged alloys, a night package with gloss black exterior trim, red front grille and wing mirror accents, red and black leather interior trim, red seat belts and ‘Edition 1’ etched into the steering wheel.

Also, this being the more powerful S version, the car’s twin-turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 engine puts out a total of 510 PS and 700 Nm of twist. Said figures are enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 4.0 seconds flat – drive, of course, goes to the rear wheels via a AMG Speedshift MCT seven-speed automatic transmission.

So, get hyped everyone! It looks like it’s just a matter of time before Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launches one of its latest super sedans – they were pretty quick to do so with the Mercedes-AMG GT, after all.
