Honda is set to premiere its new Project 2&4 show car in Frankfurt next month – there’s only a solitary teaser image of it, offering a cropped top-down view of what could well be a single-seater track-type vehicle.
The automaker says that the Project 2&4 is the winning design in a global competition between its global design studios, and fuses the workings of the company’s motorcycle design centre in Asaka and automobile design centre in Wako, Japan.
Precious few details about the creation, save that it’ll be “powered by RC213V and modified for public road use” and will feature a cabin-less structure.
The company says that the Project 2&4 will provide an immersive driving environment combining the freedom of a motorcycle and the manoeuvrability of a car. Shades of the Ariel Atom then, and definitely an intriguing prospect – expect more as we get closer to Frankfurt.
