Mitsubishi Attrage facelift renders look Outlandish

Mitsubishi Attrage renderings Theo 1

Theophilus Chin is at it again. This time, he picks up the Mitsubishi Attrage as his main target. The rendering whiz felt that it was a good idea to give it the Japanese brand’s ‘Dynamic Shield’ theme, seeing that more recent models have been updated with the new family face.

The front fascia is where the B-segment sedan gets morphed the most in these (unofficial) renders. The entire thing looks like it was just lifted off the facelifted Mitsubishi Outlander. That said, it doesn’t appear to be all that bad.

It sure looks a lot more aggressive compared to the very timid front that the Attrage currently has. However we wonder why Theo didn’t choose to go with the more futuristic Pajero Sport face.

Round the back, it’s all new again. Here, Theophilus seems to have directly lifted the rear lights off the Outlander and slapped it on to the Attrage, verbatim. Impressions of the rear lights? Well, it looks pretty neat on the B-segment sedan, clean and simple.

Some two years have passed since the Attrage was launched here in Malaysia, sharing the same underpinnings as the Mitsubishi Mirage. Do you think the next Mitsubishi Attrage will have a ‘Dynamic Shield’ theme? And more importantly, would you want it to?

  • I like it. Miles better than the goofy-looking profile of the current one. Might actually be a proper segment contender if they package it right.

I like this rendering of Mitsu’s new corporate face on the hatchback better:
