BMW has just released a huge image gallery of the new G11 BMW 7 Series for the UK market. It gives us a first look at Munich’s new luxo-barge in right hand drive form.
The model seen here is the 730d xDrive. It’s powered by a 3.0 liter turbodiesel six-cylinder engine producing 265 PS and 620 Nm of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic.
The 100 km/h sprint for this particular xDrive model is achieved in 5.8 seconds, a bit quicker compared to the 6.1 seconds of non-xDrive models.
Power goes to all four wheels instead of just to the rear wheels thanks to the xDrive system, which will be useful during the long snowy winter that Britain is predicted to face later this year thanks to El Nino.

Now that’s interesting, looks like the floating screen on the dash is also touch enabled. Noticed also that iDrive is there as per normal. So the screen can be accessed by touch and also by iDrive?
I did a short demo of it in action here.
