With a habit of tinkering with various Mercedes-Benz models, Lorinser has now again brought its magic to the W205 C-Class. This time, the German tuner has produced its very own mad version of the Mercedes-Benz C 450 AMG 4Matic.
Officially known as the Lorinser C50, this car is essentially a C 450 AMG tuned for more power and treated with a more aggressive exterior kit. And given that the C 450 AMG itself was made to fill a power gap between the C 400 and AMG C 63, Lorinser’s handiwork brings this car another step closer to the range-topping C-Class variants.
Relying on the same 3.0 litre biturbo V6 engine that delivers 367 PS and 520 Nm in the C 450 AMG, the C 50’s power unit is massaged all the way up to producing 435 PS and 620 Nm of torque. Not too far off then from the standard 476 PS C 63 and its hotter C 63 S cousin’s 510 PS.
Lorinser’s tuning helps the C 50 to shave off 0.3 seconds from the original C 450 AMG’s century sprint time, cutting it down to 4.6 seconds. The German tuner avoided fiddling with the car’s electronically=limited top speed, leaving it at 250 km/h.
The C50 package also includes new front and rear bumpers, side mirror trims, a rear boot lid spoiler and a sports exhaust system. Additionally, Lorinser also has a list of interior upgrades for the C-Class, including aluminium foot pedals, illuminated door sills, Lorinser floor mats and more.
As standard, the C 50 gets a set of 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225/40 front and 255/35 rear Continental SportContact6 rubbers. If that’s not enough for you, there is the option of upgrading to a 20-inch set with larger tyres of the same variety.
Collectively, the full Lorinser C50 package is priced at 19,950 euros (RM90,000). Individually, the power upgrade is listed at 1,541 euros (RM6,940), the body kit at 7,985 euros (RM36,000) and the 20-inch wheels at 10,424 euros (RM47,000).

RM6,940 for the power upgrade, and the body kit cost around RM36,000. The 20-inch wheels cost even more than the body kit, RM47,000. Am i missing something here? The price for the wheels are crazy man, power upgrade is more than enough to upgrade the car.
The power upgrade probably comes from tinkering with the ECU rather than any additional hardware, which explains the relatively low price. It is not mentioned in the article, but those wheels are probably of the lightweight forged variety.
I’d take the power upgrade and leave the rest looking stock. Then, wait for those bloody A-Class AMGs to tailgate…
Looked as if Leepu designed the front end.
Hahahahaha..
