Petronas has launched its Chinese New Year Coffee Break campaign for 2016. The Year of the Fire Monkey will see the national fuel retailer grow the number of participating stations massively from 40 last year to 142 stations, serving 880,000 cups of coffee on the weekends of February 6 to 7 and February 13 to 14.
What’s more, the company will also provide free 15-point vehicle safety checks at selected Petronas LubeXperts outlets and Petronas stations nationwide, while Proton owners will be given a complimentary 30-point check instead. A 20% discount on brake fluids will also be offered for those who service their cars at selected LubeXperts outlets on weekends from now until February 7.
Petronas will also contribute RM20,000 worth of fuel to St John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM), which will provide emergency response services along the major highways throughout the festive season, as well as holding basic first aid demonstrations at selected Petronas stations on January 30 and 31.
