Here’s another Super Bowl ad for you — this one coming from Audi. We know that BMW and Mercedes-Benz have opted out of joining the list of Super Bowl TV commercials this year, but that hasn’t stopped Audi from releasing “Commander.”
The tale surrounds a former astronaut, now in the latter parts of his life, reminiscing the thrill of flying into space. Obviously depressed, the aged bloke doesn’t seem to enjoy life as much as he used to. At least until his son comes along to cheer him up with something special.
Not just with any old bag of tricks, the man’s son hands over the keys to his new Audi R8 V10 plus. Naturally, the R8’s 5.2 litre V10 and its 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque does the trick – strong medicine, this.
The second-gen Audi R8 may soon be launched in Malaysia, if we were right in calling out Audi Malaysia’s cheeky tease at the end of 2015.
