While 0-100 km/h in less than four seconds may sound (and feel) like it’s a lot to handle, what about 0-500 km/h in the same amount of time? Well, this video aims to illustrate that feat in one of the fastest drag vehicles in the world – a 10,000 hp Top Fuel dragster doing the quarter mile run.
Said video, filmed by former NHRA champ, Shawn Langdon, who fitted a camera in his helmet sees the Top Fuel dragster hit 317 mph in 3.77 seconds – just to note, that’s about 508 km/h. At mid-point, the camera seems to have a hard time just capturing the surroundings, seen all blurry.
Just for comparisons sake, hybrid hypercars such as the Porsche 918 Spyder and the McLaren P1 typically go from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. Similarly, the Ferrari LaFerrari also completes the century sprint in under three seconds as well. The Koenigsegg One:1, though not a hybrid, does the century sprint in less than three seconds too, and 0-400 km/h in around 20 seconds.

No, because highway not in ‘straight” road(connering on 500 km is crazy)… and the highway still have many vehicles.
500km/h is not the top speed…
Thereotical Top Speed for Top Fuel Dragster is 843 mph (1357km/h)
Thereotical…..
question is will the engine last 5 mins under that stress? let alone 40 mins.
I dont think there is a ‘feeling’ tbh….
I doubt a Human brain can absorbe all that in such few seconds…i bet the driver cant remember anything…
How come this thread no complaint on PROTON? feel strange and weird.
wait and wait and wait for the start…then…..eh?! finish?! where is the 500km/h?
What happened? Is this a joke?
