The Fiat 500S facelift has made its European debut at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show. Positioned between the regular 500 (launched last September in Europe) and the hot Abarth version, the 500S first made its debut there in 2012, and is now back with an update.
On the exterior, the 500S features new, sportier bumpers and side skirts with new 15-inch alloy wheels as well. Optionally, buyers may also specify a set of 16-inch wheels with a matte diamond-black finish. The exterior also has several trim items finished in Satin Graphite. A rear privacy glass also been added, as well as a chrome-finished exhaust tailpipe.
Moving inside, the updated interior features black seats and roof lining with contrasting detailing in either blue, white or yellow. The standard TFT instruments are available, along with a unique front fascia finish and a sports steering wheel.
Fiat has updated this 500S with its new Uconnect seven-inch high-definition touchscreen as standard kit. Also, a 440-watt BeatsAudio sound system makes its debut in the 500 range here. The seven-speaker Beats system by Dr Dre comes equipped with a digital amplifier which Fiat claims can “recreate the entire sound spectrum that an artist experiences during studio recording.”
The Fiat 500S facelift will go on sale in the UK come June this year, with final pricing set to revealed closer to that time. There will be two body colours to choose from, being Electronica Blue and a new matte green.

I consider myself a medium built asian male at 5’&’. I could get in and out of our kanchil more easily than this current model in the market. Yes, it is worse than our kancil. I experienced this car in Toronto had to coil myself in most uncomfortable positions to sit in. The italians could learn one or two from the japanese about managing space in ultra compacts. Maybe the Italians are too wrapped in their quest for style.
