KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition appears in Geneva

KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition-6

Making a sinister appearance at the Geneva Motor Show is the KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition. Based on the X-Bow GT, the limited-edition model gets a dark theme along with a boost in power. Only five units of the X-Bow GT Black Edition will be made.

Outside, the two-seater is given carbon-fibre parts, while in front, it’s fitted with 18-inch front and 19-inch rear BBS wheels. To give it an even more menacing appeal, the rear comes with a black anodised sports exhaust.

On the inside, the seats come with colour-coordinated stitching while “Black Edition” logos can be found on the headrests. Meanwhile, the steering wheel is wrapped in suede leather and machined aluminium is used for the gear and brake levers.

There’s also a revised multimedia system that supports the rear camera in the back. As for the centre console, it features an aluminium plaque to signify that the X-Bow GT Black Edition is a limited-run model. Despite the appearance, the model maintains its weight at 847 kg.

The engine of the model in question is a tweaked version of the X-Bow GT’s Audi-derived 2.0 litre turbocharged mill that produces a total of 320 hp (as opposed to 285 hp), mated to a six-speed manual transmission. It goes from 0-97 km/h in four seconds flat and has a top-speed of 235 km/h.

Interestingly, the Black Edition is priced at USD$108,000 (RM441,375), which is USD$10,000 (RM40,875) cheaper than the standard model. Purchasing one will see owners picking up their car at the KTM factory in Graz, Austria where they will also be given a tour of the facility.

It certainly looks a lot like Batmobile. A road legal, factory ready one. Looks awesome.
