Seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer is no ordinary bloke. A father of two sets of twins and an active pro tennis player, the Swiss legend lives a charmed yet demanding life full of surprises. In this clip, Mercedes-Benz teams up with the tennis ace to show us why it’s important to be prepared for anything.
With a Mercedes-Benz V-Class at his disposal, Federer is seen in what appears to be his weekly routine. He and his family are seen at the fair, driving around town, and doing all sorts of activities even with a fictional soft toy that’s come to life. Most of all, the video showcases how Federer is able to do all of this with his large family in tow, thanks to the V-Class.
It’s a heart-warming clip with a matching soundtrack that essentially highlights the V-Class’ capabilities. The large MPV is popularly known to offer six, seven and eight seat configurations – easily enough to ferry Federer’s family of seven (himself and fictional toy included) everywhere.
As seen here, the new V-Class is for sale in Malaysia via custom orders. Only the 163 hp/380 Nm 2.1 litre turbodiesel engine has been homologated, leaving just one V-Class engine option for us, but there’s still a variety of specs to choose from. As a reference, the V 220d Avantgarde Line that was previewed in Malaysia is priced at RM434,888.
Also, while Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had only shown the six- and seven-seat versions of the V-Class here, the eight-seat model can be ordered as well. Again, do note that because the V-Class is only available via custom order, specs and prices will vary according to what packages and options you choose.
