This is the Haval H7 SUV, which is set to make its domestic market debut at Auto China 2016 in Beijing next week. Leisurely would best describe its deployment, because the vehicle premiered in Shanghai a year ago, supposedly in production guise.
It appeared again in Guangzhou last November, though this time the iteration showcased was said to be the final production form of the type. At this juncture, reports had also indicated a timeline for its market roll-out – the H7 was due to have begun selling locally earlier this year (guess not).
Specifications of the final final market-ready production unit shouldn’t veer very far from that shown in Guangzhou. The 4.7 metre-long H7 will be powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder mill offering 227 hp and 350 Nm, and this will be paired with a six-speed dual clutch transmission.
Said to boast new levels of safety for its automaker (Great Wall Motor owns the brand), the H7 will be equipped with adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, 360 degree view, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning and forward collision warning, among other things
