Novitec Rosso N-Largo S Ferrari F12 Berlinetta comes with a wide-body and a total of 781 hp and 722 Nm

Novitec Rosso N-Largo S-1

Novitec has given the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta a cosmetic upgrade and some added power. The Novitec Rosso N-Largo S sports a wide body designed with the cooperation of German designer Vittorio Strosek.

Said kit is made out of lightweight, high-strength carbon components which were tested in a wind tunnel. There’s a new front fender – wider by seven cm than the production components. The rear gets a set of flares, moulded to the production body, increasing width by 14 cm.

There’s also a specially-developed front bumper with a central front blade that comes with an optional naked carbon finish. The central air intake supplies cooling air for the radiators, while the openings on the side direct wind to the brakes. This, according to the company, reduces lift on the front axle and enhances handling at high speeds.

Further to that, the hood possesses an air outlet that’s fitted with a naked carbon cover that directs wind over the roof and better ventilation. There are special naked carbon air deflectors for the air intakes on both sides of the windshield. Styled rocker panels can be had in a choice of matte or high-gloss coating, while the side mirrors are encased in carbon covers.

Down the back, Novitec Rosso has given the sports car a specially-developed N-Largo S bumper with three-gill shaped vents on each side. The centre of the rear has been extended with a carbon component. A roof spoiler lip and carbon rear airfoil is also present. To complete the striking looks of the back-end, the tailamps have been tinted black.

The Ferrari here sits on lightweight, five-double spoke NF6 NL wheels developed exclusively for the N-Largo S. The alloy wheels can be painted in any colour and a separate version featuring carbon-coated outer flanges are available as well. The 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

Said wheels are supported by a revised suspension with Novitec Rosso sport springs, which lowers ride height by some 40 mm. An optional lift system for the front axle, with hydraulic height adjustment will raise the front to about 40 mm via a button in the cockpit. Upon reaching a set speed of 80 km/h, the suspension will automatically revert back to the original operating position.

As for power, Novitec Rosso has developed a performance kit for the 6.3 litre V12 engine. The kit squeezes out 781 hp at 8,600 rpm and 722 Nm at 6,400 rpm (up from 730 hp and 690 Nm). The N-Largo S will hit 0-100 km/h in three seconds flat (0.1 seconds faster) and 200 km/h in five seconds (8.5 seconds previously). Top speed has also been increased to 350 km/h (340 km/h in standard tune).

Said kit comprises of a new mapping for the injection and ignition along with Novitec Rosso’s high-performance stainless steel quad exhaust. On that note, a lightweight exhaust made from Inconel is also available as an option.

Inside, apart from the redesigned carbon paddle shifters on the steering wheel, the company offers customers the choice of a customised interior. The cockpit can be remodelled with leather, Alcantara and carbon, in any colour.
