Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) is currently organising a Nissan 4WD Carnival at all showrooms nationwide, from May 14 to 15. Said carnival aims to allow members of the public to experience the four-wheel drive capabilities of the Nissan NP300 Navara and X-Trail. During the event, an introductory launch of Ironman 4×4 accessories exclusively for the NP300 Navara was also held at the same time.
Ironman 4×4 is an Australian brand that offers 4×4 accessories, which are also supplied to the mining and defence industry in over 160 countries. The Challenger package comprises an Ironman commercial deluxe bullbar (airbag compliant), foam cell struts for the front, foam cell shock absorbers for the rear, a pair of coil springs for both the front and rear and is priced at RM11k. The Challenger Plus pack, adds on steel side steps with rails and costs RM15,500. The Adventurer package, which includes all items mentioned and an additional rear protection bar, costs RM22k. All prices are inclusive of GST.
For those looking to purchase a new NP300 Navara equipped with the accessories, ETCM is currently offering an introductory promotion discount of 15% for all packages. To add to that, the company stated that the accessories can be financed together with the purchase of the new Navara.
At the event today, a special obstacle course, which include an elephant ramp and an uneven surface test, has been set up especially for customers to try out the four-wheel drive system and the Navara’s multi-link rear suspension.
Elsewhere, customers who book a new Nissan vehicle at the two-day event are entitled to enter into a “Book and Win” contest where they will be in the running to win a Sharp 40-inch LED TV and other prizes. Additionally, for the entire month of May, customers who purchase and register their Nissan vehicle, stand a chance to win one million AirAsia Big points too. The carnival will hit Kuching, Sarawak on May 21 to the 22.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Good offering, but i have lost faith in the brand after needing a paid clutch change for my Navara at only 16,000km. Their dual clutch system is a an archiles heel.
Dun like Ironman. Can i get it with Capt Amerika accessories instead?
Hilux is still the best seller. I am collecting orders every hour.
AP holder sells more car than you
AP holder? No. Dun need any holder for the auxiliary power unit. Its 1 set with the winch
Nope. Forrester is the best. From Rm211k to Rm145k. 31% price down. Janji ditepati
Nissan Tan Chong missed an opportunity with the top spec Np300 to just fit side and curtain airbags. If they had done so, plenty of safety conscious, for family-use, buyers will have bought it. Only the wildtrak and hilux 2.8 have got that level of safety features at the moment and these buyers will go to these trucks.
yes u are correct
You are absolutely correct. Some potential customer do need these off road package, but some prefer their truck as it is just for everyday use. And of course a full package of safety kits are more preferable then this off road kits.
You are correct sir
i like ARB oldman..ironman leaking
Does this include AP?
No. Auxiliary power only used for winch accessory which this dun have.
HELLO TCM. IS THIS BULL BAR PEDESTRIAN-SAFE? ARE MALAYSIAN ROADS FULL OF BULLS?
Its full of pajero killing myvis, so better protect ownself with anti-myvi bullbars.
Hello! There is no such thing as pedestrian safe bumpers. Any hit is going to hurt regardless. What you want? Go cover your car bumper and bonnet with pillows first then come back and talk. Anyways the parts above are meant for extreme jungle off road.
obviously u hv been living in the cave for too long…
I was talking bout the bar, not bumper. You got sight problem or what?
They are one an the same in the part above.

unless they do not comply to Australian standards (unlikely), ‘safe’ since 2013. Noob complaining about something he doesn’t know. Kthxbye
I’m gonna say the same thing. But it’s pity that we got so many objections here by Paul Tan’s automotive community. This shouldn’t have been approved for road use by JPJ and should in fact be declared road illegal by the authority. These gears are belong to cavemen and their period! (Of course enthusiasts can always retrofit these things for off-road events and jack their truck tallest possible. But please don’t use on road for everyday use for safety of other road users. Be considerate!)
is this legal?
Only when u install a rear pintle mount for 50cal then it is illegal
Thats actually legal for hilux… tak percaya tanya semua hilux owner di timur tengah
There they alredi dun play-play with machinegun but upgrade to rocket launcher & AA gun.
Should hav throw in a set of AT tires at least.
Ironman brand is a joke and replication of arb brand
Only arb is geniue
With that amount of money to put into accessories, i rather use it for downpayment in a medium-cost apartment. It appreciate better than accessories.
