Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has yet another limited edition model for our market, the Mitsubishi ASX Orange Edition. Limited to a run of 180 units, the Orange Edition is priced at RM132,900.19 before insurance. As the name implies, this variant wears splashes of the citrusy hue as visual differentiation.
Based on the 2.0 4WD variant, the ASX Orange Edition is powered by a 2.0 litre petrol engine producing 150 PS and 197 Nm of torque, which is channeled to the driven wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with paddle shifters. Standard safety equipment includes seven airbags, ABS, EBD, stability control, traction control and hill start assist, while additional features include keyless entry with push-button start and cruise control.
The exterior features which go with the theme include orange trim items on the front and rear bumper, a large orange rear spoiler, door visors, orange side mirror covers, “Spirit Of Competition” decals and 17-inch matte black alloy wheels.
Inside, the ASX Orange Edition features a four-camera All Around Monitor system which consists of a camera each for the front, rear, left- and right-hand-side extremities of the vehicle, which provides the driver with a virtual bird’s eye view when manoeuvring in confined spaces.
The orange theme carries on with the interior – the leather seats gain orange accents as do the carpet mats, while scuff plates, carbon fibre-look on the audio panel surrounds and on the door trim also appear within the ASX Orange Edition.
In line with Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s Raya promotions, customers stand to be rewarded with cash rebates of up to RM8,000 for each ASX Orange Edition booked and registered before July 31, 2016.

MMM didn’t sell any ASX in May, so they have to be creative. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

as much as i love the exterior, the interior is far too much cheap plastic feeling..
The first thing I did was laugh at the name of the edition. Then I felt sad this was the how mitsubishi has to sell its stock now.
I like orange but, with this car, Mitsubishi is really flogging a dead horse.
This was introduced in 2010…. 6 yr old car….the normal asx is being thrown at below 100k OTR…
